Privacy policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit oldmanplaysgames.com (“this site”), which is run by Lee Palmer. The site has no accounts, sign-ups or forms, so it collects very little about you.
Information this site does not collect
You can't create an account here and there are no forms to fill in. The site does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. If you email us, your message and address are used only to reply to you.
Server logs and analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. You can install Google's opt-out browser add-on to stop this.
YouTube content
Video thumbnails on this site are loaded from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them. The video player on the home page only loads after you press play. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and once a video plays, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. Links marked as YouTube links take you to youtube.com.
Advertising
This site may use Google AdSense to show ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a consent message, provided through Google's certified consent management tools, before personalized ads or related cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from that message.
Cookies
This site doesn't set its own cookies. Cookies may be set by Google (advertising and analytics) and by YouTube when you play a video, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Since this site doesn't store personal information beyond emails you send us, just email us and we will delete your messages on request.
